Price: RM35/RM44 for Sabah/Sarawak

Verdict: 7/10
Cubecrate is a surprise subscription box that costs RM35 per month and includes a variety of locally sourced products ranging from beauty to decor and handmade items that you wouldn't think to try out on your own. For three months, the subscription is RM90. They also have a wine subscription if you're into fine wine, personalized boxes for a loved one, or an entire team of people, and many other options. ^^
Disclaimer: I received this box in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own, as usual. ^^ You can also check out:

December's Box
Cubecrate's last box of the year is very much Christmas Themed! There's not one, but two brands of cookies in here, which I very much approve of because, cookies!
The King Cookies
The first thing that caught my eye is the reappearance of The_Kingcookies. These were available in November's box as well and were pretty good, if a little sweet for my taste.
The cookies are a little sweet for my taste, but pretty good! The packaging is beautifully done, but it's a big package and I kind of hope that they've included included the ingredients there. There's a card with a phone number included in the pack for orders. ^^ Cubecrate's also able to provide more if you're keen on trying them.
Palsy Walsy Candles
There's a heavy scent of ginger and cream, which I later realized is from the Palsy Walsy's gingerbread candle. It's a wonderful scent and I'm looking forward to making my house smell like this.
There's 26 fragrances to choose from, from flowers to fruity scents, cookies, and coffee. Each candle is being sold for RM34 on Carousell and are significantly bigger than the bottle included here, which will surely last longer. :)
Lina's Little Cottage
Another cookie brand that made it in the box is Lina's Little Cottage, which provided me with four pieces of red velvet cookies. So good, I wish there were more!
I checked out their website and it seems like it's a little outdated (with the promotion still at Raya 2016), but there are a lot of options! From cupcakes to cakes and cookies and kuih raya! They are, however, quite active on their instagram page. :)

Tinkerberry: Spiced Apple Detox
Tinkerberry is a Dessert-inspired range of bath and body products. Each product is carefully crafted with the finest organic ingredients and hand-made in small batches. I've tried their chocolate face scrub back in May's box and their chocolate lip balm in July's Box and have been pretty happy with their items, so I'm curious to see another one of their sample packs.
This is a Spiced Apple Detox that is a deep-cleansing clay masque that can de-congest scalp and reduce dandruff. In addition, it can also aid in preventing hairfall. Instructions says to mix Scalp Detox with a little water/apple cider vinegar and apply onto dry scalp, then massage well and wash off after 30 minutes - 2 hours. I've used one of these back in their August, 2017 box and really enjoyed it!

An familiar addition is a Savee Mask. These are locally made masks that, according to my West Malaysian friends, are found easily in markets. I've never seen them in stores here, but online prices start from RM1, which is fairly cheap. The ingredients list looks decent enough, and the bitter melon mask is meant for anti-inflammation and oil control. I have yet to try this. >< Will update when I do.

Overall Impression
I really like that they did a poll a few weeks prior to the boxing, asking followers if they would like another calendar like they had last year and when the response was good, they went ahead and delivered. The 2017 calendar was really nice and I'm sure the 2018 calendar will be put to good use as well.
For the last box of the year, I find myself undoubtedly pleased. There's a good variety of products, from food to skincare, and some miscellaneous additions that will no doubt be useful for the entire household.
If you know anyone who's trying to start their own business, selling their new brands, let them know if they're keen on joining Cubecrate. :) It's a good way to have different people introduced to the new brands.
